Title: (Paraphrase problem in a
single statement)Allowing CP to present
different logos for users on different IP net
Detailed
Problem Description: (Description of what you want changed - 400 character entry limit)
z/VM users coming from different
IP networks can be given different logos ONLY if they are communicating with a
separate TCP stack, eg TCPIP2. CP has no awareness of IP address during logo
selection. It would be useful to have that capability.

Justification: (Why? Non-technical
business case description. Do not reword Detailed Problem
Description from above. What are the benefits to be gained by your
company, and the vendor and others?
Quantify: run time, dollars, manpower, etc. Why should the vendor do this for the customer?)
In many cases, users in SNA networks commonly
customize logos to indicate origin and other information about how the user
connected for support purposes. Similar capability would be useful for IP
networks.
Solution: (Optional)(Desired/undesired elements Note: Making a suggestion may limit a
vendors ability to deliver a solution)
Impact: (Optional) (How
will your company’s business be affected if a solution is not delivered?)
Separate TCP stacks are a PITA to maintain.
