The QUERY SYSTEM
command as provided in Z/VSE 4.2 shows task totals for the entire VSE system.
While this shows if a system is approaching the 255 or 512 tasks limit, it does
not show if a partition is approaching the partition task limit of 32.

Current command gives overall task counts
within a VSE image but does not give enough detail to see if there are
partitions that are task-bound or approaching the 32-task partition limit. This
information would be helpful in tuning and problem resolution.
