Most network and system management packages
rely on SNMP to monitor devices and performance counters. As CP is now
providing network and storage virtualization services as well as compute
services, SNMP measurement data retrieval is requied. Base minimum of MIB2 SMI
is needed, more details would be even better.

Impacts availability by not permitting
integrated monitoring with other network elements. Will kludge something up if
not provided, but would prefer to have it a part of the native CP networking
support.
