Title: (Paraphrase problem in a
single statement)Remove limitation of number
of fields for record maps.
Detailed
Problem Description: (Description of what you want changed - 400 character entry limit)
Currently while defining
record maps from COBOL copybooks we can not create but a certain number of
fields in a record map. The solution for this now is we have to break copy
books in to multiple pieces and define each set of fields with multiple steps
to get one copy book done.

Ease of Use.
Business
Justification: (Why? Non-technical
business case description. Do not reword Detailed Problem
Description from above. What are the benefits to be gained by your
company, and the vendor and others?
Quantify: run time, dollars, manpower, etc. Why should the vendor do this for the customer?)
We would be saving a great deal of time an
effort by development staff and systems staff in migrating these record maps to
production with out fear of missing or duplicating fields for a copy book. This would also help us with making sure
that when a copybook is updated, the appropiate record map gets updated.
Solution: (Optional)(Desired/undesired elements Note: Making a suggestion may limit a
vendors ability to deliver a solution)
Remove limitation.
Impact: (Optional) (How
will your company’s business be affected if a solution is not delivered?)
