SSL/TLS encrypted connections to the CICS Server. Provide support for encrypted communications from these CICS
Family products to CICS/TS for VSE.

My company has to maintain compliance with
industry governances such as the Payment Card Industry Data Security
Standard. Internally, our IT security
policy is to encrypt any network transfer that contains private data (i.e.
credit card, SSN, account numbers, etc.) to protect against insider threat.

We will need to migrate off of using the CICS
Transaction Gateway/CICS Universal Client products and look for another
solution. This would require both an
investment in development effort as well as possible additional costs towards
aquiring another solution.
