When trying to debug a CICS
listener program you do not see the calls to the EZA programs in the CICS dump
trace along with the normal CICS trace items.
To find out if you have a call issue you need to put in EXEC CICS
commands around the EZA program call.
This feature in the CICS trace for EZA programs is available in CICS for z/OS

financial information and is a financial hardship when these programs go
