If a precompile results in
an error or a warning it is difficult, especially in a large program, to find
what line(s) the errors are on. There
should be a summary of errors, including line numbers, toward the bottom of the
pre-compile output. Similar to the
"TRANSLATOR DIAGNOSTIC MESSAGES" section at the end of a CICS
pre-compile.
