lot of time is wasted scanning the contents of a library shelf looking for the
manual you want because you never know if it is called “DB2 Application
programming”, “IBM DB2 Application programming”, “VSE DB2 Application
programming” or any of a dozen other possibilities
Solution: (Optional)Pick a standard format
for a manual name - Operating system, product, title, release (as in VSE DB2
Application programming V7.5) and stick to it, even if it doesn’t match the
name on the front of the manual.
Impact: (Optional) It will save my
son hearing me yelling at the $%^&*
computer because I can’t find the stinking manual I need.
