Justification: (Why? Non-technical
business case description. Do not reword Detailed Problem
Description from above. What are the benefits to be gained by your
company, and the vendor and others?
Quantify: run time, dollars, manpower, etc. Why should the vendor do this for the customer?)
When the Power files become full processing
stops. Most times an errant progam is looping or othwise producting invalid
output. The suggested solution will provide a way to specify what amount of
output is "out of range" for a job.
Solution: (Optional)(Desired/undesired elements Note: Making a suggestion may limit a
vendors ability to deliver a solution)
One posible method is to create a new
"RBS-like" JOB/LST/PUN statement keyword: MAX=(count,action) for
example: MAX=(10000,PROMPT) or MAX=(10000,CANCEL) or MAX=(10000,WARN). Other
suggestions would be welcome.
Impact: (Optional) (How
will your company’s business be affected if a solution is not delivered?)
