The LIBR Copy command that is used to build the IJSYSR1.SYSLIB and then during DTRMRG.PROC processing another LIBR Copy command returns all of the members back to IJSYSRS.SYSLIB.  Since The LIBR Restore command has the ability to retain the OLD Time Stamp, the COPY command should be able to do the same function so that Time Stamps of original members are preserved.

Priority: (Select one: Urgent - High - Medium - Low) Medium

Requested Completion Date: (When? Examples: 3 months, 1 year, Next Release) 6 months

Requirement Type: (Select one: Acceptability - Compatibility/Migration - Ease of Use - Feature/Function - Performance - Reliability/Availability/Serviceability - Packaging - Interoperability)

Function

Business Justification: (Why? Non-technical business case description. Do not reword Detailed Problem Description from above. What are the benefits to be gained by your company, and the vendor and others?  Quantify: run time, dollars, manpower, etc.   Why should the vendor do this for the customer?)

The time line of members addto IJSYSRS.SYSLIB are lost by the present process because EVERYTHING has the same Time Stamp.

Solution: (Optional)(Desired/undesired elements Note: Making a suggestion may limit a vendors ability to deliver a solution)

Extend the OLD date retention that is already on the LIBR Restore command to the COPY command, but make it the default also.

Impact: (Optional) (How will your company’s business be affected if a solution is not delivered?)

There are 20 Development systems, 54 Production and 54 Backup/Recovery systems and unless the PTF application listings are manually processed to get the information,  there is no other way to pick the applied service from one system and send it to all of the others.
