When a map is sent in CICS, if the map name is not a valid program, CICS returns a "normal" response code (all zeros) but issues an APCT which abends the program. They should give a response code to show the PGMIDERR and let you deal with it. This has gone to CICS LVL2, DESIGN TEAM wants a request for DESIGN change. This is present in all versions of CICS (per LVL2)
