WAVV Requirement Form

Date: 3/13/2006                                           Requirement #:  WAVV200612

Product Name:    CICS/TS VSE       Product Release# (or state “current”): all

Vendor Name:     IBM

Title: (Paraphrase problem in a single statement)Autoinstall for DOCTEMPLATES

Detailed Problem Description: (Description of what you want changed - 400 character entry limit)

There is no way to define a group of templates.  All Doctemplates have to be defined in CSD-File (CEDA).  Since VSE does not have a perspective to get CICS/TS 3.1 with URImaps a way to fix this problem is desperately needed for shops going to use the CICS/Web.

Priority: (Select one: Urgent - High - Medium - Low) Medium

Requested Completion Date: (When? Examples: 3 months, 1 year, Next Release) SPE PTF

Function

Business Justification: (Why? Non-technical business case description. Do not reword Detailed Problem Description from above. What are the benefits to be gained by your company, and the vendor and others?  Quantify: run time, dollars, manpower, etc.   Why should the vendor do this for the customer?)

Unneccessary work to describe DOCTEMPLATES is avoided.

Solution: (Optional)(Desired/undesired elements Note: Making a suggestion may limit a vendors ability to deliver a solution)

Create functionality to define groups of templates (i.e. with *).  It does not have to be with an AUTOINSTALL-Program: I could live with a definition with an asteriks.

Impact: (Optional) (How will your company’s business be affected if a solution is not delivered?)

Major:  I already have problems with the 10 HTMLs (and the associated data) that I created for samples or demonstration purposes.
