What are the benefits to be gained by your company, and the vendor and
others? Quantify: run time, dollars,
manpower, etc. Why should the vendor
do this for the customer?)
Use a report writer that relies heavily on the
use of outer joins and works fine with other standard databases. We should not
have to change our standard report writer software to work with this one
database. Coding queries without outer joins is very cumbersome and our query
writing productivity would increase greatly if this feature were added.
