Title: (Paraphrase problem in a
single statement)Need a way to determine CICs
SIT parms after startup.
Detailed
Problem Description: (Description of what you want changed - 400 character entry limit)
For debugging new
installations or for problem determination at any time, it would be very
convenient to determine after CICS/TS startup what cics tables suffixes and
DHFSIT parameters were being used for this execution of CICS. This could be done by logging the
information at CICS startup, or better yet, have a CICS transaction that could
be run at anytime that would display the information.

Business
Justification: (Why? Non-technical
business case description. Do not reword Detailed Problem
Description from above. What are the benefits to be gained by your
company, and the vendor and others?
Quantify: run time, dollars, manpower, etc. Why should the vendor do this for the customer?)
Ease of problem determination, documentation
Solution: (Optional)(Desired/undesired elements Note: Making a suggestion may limit a
vendors ability to deliver a solution)
Log on console at startup or collect/archive
info to be display by online transaction at a later time. The suffix of the DFHSIT module is
displayed, I like to be able to determine at the options contained within that
SIT.
Impact: (Optional) (How
will your company’s business be affected if a solution is not delivered?)
Quite often, it is not evident what the sit
parameters are, or which DFHSIT module is being used if there are duplicate
DFHSIT modules is separate sub-libraries.
