Title: (Paraphrase problem in a single statement)Convert VOLLIE User Exits to CICS Command Level for use in CICS/TS.

Detailed Problem Description: (Description of what you want changed - 400 character entry limit)

VOLLIE has four user exits; Command Exit, UPDATE command exit for VSE library updates, SUBMIT command exit & CA-LIBRARIAN UPDATE command exits.  Currently these exits are designed to use the CICS macro-level API.  Current and future versions of CICS will only support the command-level API.

Requested Completion Date: (When? Examples: 3 months, 1 year, Next Release) 3 months

Requirement Type: (Select one: Acceptability - Compatibility/Migration - Ease of Use - Feature/Function - Performance - Reliability/Availability/Serviceability - Packaging - Interoperability) Compatibility/Migration

Business Justification: (Why? Non-technical business case description. Do not reword Detailed Problem Description from above. What are the benefits to be gained by your company, and the vendor and others?  Quantify: run time, dollars, manpower, etc.   Why should the vendor do this for the customer?)

BISYS currently uses a VOLLIE submit exit under CICS/VSE as part of it's security and control for programming and operation departments.  The audit and security department is charged with generating and distributing passwords each quarter for these departments.  BISYS has an outstanding external audit issue to remove the audit and security department from the password generation process and require the individual user to generate and change their password.  This can be accomplished by migrating from CICS/VSE to CICS/TS and utilize the IUI sign on panels along with the Basic Security Manager provided in VSE.  The macro-level VOLLIE submit exit does not function correctly under CICS/TS.  Therefore BISYS cannot take advantage of CICS/TS, the Basic Security Manager and maintain our current internal security environment.
