Title: (Paraphrase problem in a
single statement)Add cuu to TAPE command
Detailed
Problem Description: (Description of what you want changed - 400 character entry limit)
The TAPE command could be
very helpful in situations where several jobs are using the same tape, all of
them using the MTC RUN command, which forces an operator intervention to
remount the tape for every job.
TAPE UNL=REW command causes ALL tape devices to
replace Rewind and UNload command with REWind command.
Unfortunately, since this command changes all tape
devices behavior, it causes the undesirable effect of a second volume in a
multivolume file writing over the first volume. This makes the TAPE command
unusable.
