Title: (Paraphrase problem in a single statement)Poor performance of IUI in "STORAGE DUMP MANAGEMENT"

Detailed Problem Description: (Description of what you want changed - 400 character entry limit)

improve performance of the online dump management facility and allow entire contents of dump management file to be displayed with the online screens and not just the first 56 dfumps in the file; batch INFOANA lists the entire contents of the file.

Priority: (Select one: Urgent - High - Medium - Low) Low

Requested Completion Date: (When? Examples: 3 months, 1 year, Next Release) Next Release

Requirement Type: (Select one: Acceptability - Compatibility/Migration - Ease of Use - Feature/Function - Performance - Reliability/Availability/Serviceability - Packaging - Interoperability)

Ease of Use, Reliability & Performance

Business Justification: (Why? Non-technical business case description. Do not reword Detailed Problem Description from above. What are the benefits to be gained by your company, and the vendor and others?  Quantify: run time, dollars, manpower, etc.   Why should the vendor do this for the customer?)

I love the concept of dumping to a library as opposed to wasting cycles formatting dumps during production, but if we're going to use the facility it shouldn't offer misleading information (e.g. "hmmmm…the dump's gone…oh well") and shoule offer performance akin to online mainframe systems, not the world wide web.

Solution: (Optional)(Desired/undesired elements Note: Making a suggestion may limit a vendors ability to deliver a solution)

improve the blocking factor of the INFOANA dump management file (it is currently unblocked) and allow the number of display screens to exceed seven (7) if in fact there are more than 56 dumps in the file to be displayed.

Impact: (Optional) (How will your company’s business be affected if a solution is not delivered?)
