We require two copies of library backups: one on-site and one off-site. Currently we have to run LIBR twice to get
the two copies. A dual output tape
option would reduce the backup time significantly and would also guarantee that
both tapes are identical. Other vendors
of backup software provide this option but we want to stick with a pure IBM
backup for disaster recovery.
