For my company, avoiding the cost of replacing SPRI with POWER and other products to provide the functionality of SPRI. For Software Pursuits, a product that is more marketable as a direct replacement for POWER.

Modify SPRI to emulate internal POWER control blocks or enhance the capabilities of SPRI to coexist with POWER to support SPRI DSNs, etc.
