Title: (Paraphrase problem in a
single statement)Enhance ability to override
default settings
Detailed
Problem Description: (Description of what you want changed - 400 character entry limit)
There is currently no way to
override POWER's default settings for commands that generate output to the LST
queue such as PDISPLAY ALL,TAPE=cuu,OUT=LST. POWER has "hard-coded"
the class, disposition and priority of such items.
Priority: (Select one: Urgent
- High - Medium - Low)

Next Release) ASAP

Business
Justification: (Why? Non-technical
business case description. Do not reword Detailed Problem
Description from above. What are the benefits to be gained by your
company, and the vendor and others?
Quantify: run time, dollars, manpower, etc. Why should the vendor do this for the customer?)
It would help our operations staff if we could
determine how output of this nature gets generated to the LST queue instead of
having to live with default values.
Solution: (Optional)(Desired/undesired elements Note: Making a suggestion may limit a
vendors ability to deliver a solution)
Add either 1) a new setting in the POWER gen
macro to set these defaults or 2) auto-start statements that will allow
override of POWER defaults.
Impact: (Optional) (How
will your company’s business be affected if a solution is not delivered?)
It will make life a bit easier for operations
when searching for and printing items of this type. For example, the items
should not start printing if the printer happens to be started for Class A but
they will because the default is DISP=D.
