Title: (Paraphrase problem in a single statement)Starting printers takes a system task

Detailed Problem Description: (Description of what you want changed - 400 character entry limit)

When starting a PSF printer in Power it takes a system task.  Since there is a limited number of system task this severly limits the number of printers that can be started at one time.  Would like a started printer to not take a system task.

Priority: (Select one: Urgent - High - Medium - Low) High

Requested Completion Date: (When? Examples: 3 months, 1 year, Next Release) Next Release

Acceptability

Business Justification: (Why? Non-technical business case description. Do not reword Detailed Problem Description from above. What are the benefits to be gained by your company, and the vendor and others?  Quantify: run time, dollars, manpower, etc.   Why should the vendor do this for the customer?)

We have the need to print to 70-100 remote printers through PSF.  We can not start all the printers at once which means a manual process of starting and stopping printers as print is created or the purchase of a different solution instead of PSF.

Solution: (Optional)(Desired/undesired elements Note: Making a suggestion may limit a vendors ability to deliver a solution)

Impact: (Optional) (How will your company’s business be affected if a solution is not delivered?)

Can not provide service required by our users.
