1) Add a new value for the
SIZE parameter on the EXEC JCL statement, which will specify that the length of
the program being executed is to be used as the Non-GETVIS area length: SIZE=*
or SIZE=(*,{nk|mM}) (This means add nK or mM to the program length). 2) Add a new value for the JCC SIZE (which
is usually placed in BG JCL procedure): SIZE {BG|Fn}={nK|mM|*}

The proper syntax of the EXEC JCL statement for
running a program compiled by LE enabled compiler such as COBOL or PL/1 for VSE
is: // EXEC PROG,SIZE=PROG. This is
unnecessary and proned to error. After
my proposal, the above would be implemented as follows: // EXEC PROG,SIZE=*, or
just // EXEC PROG, if SIZE Fn=* JCC was coded.
